Bike Trailer (aka Dad's feeling soft)

Brian was feeling sweet on his kids today and decided to surprise Nathan by picking him up in a bike trailer. Nathan seemed to love it, and it was so much fun to see Nathan run into the house with his new helmet on! I foresee us getting some really good use out of this over the next few years. 

I am not quite sure, but I think Nathan had a growth spurt when I was in the hospital. I know they say that your older kids seem huge when you have a new baby, and I am sure that is part of it, but I also swear he got bigger in the last week too. Liz humored me and said she even thought his face looked a little different. She really loves me, that sister of mine. 

Regardless of size Nathan has been taking the whole new baby thing in stride remarkably well. He's mostly unphased by her with moments of sweetness. She has cooperated by sleeping at the key moments that I've needed to do stuff for him. It can't last long, but I'll take it in the meantime.
