Christmas in Reading! - 2013

We had a wonderful visit in Reading! Nathan got in some good naps (the cutest of which was the one he took with Pop Pop (who insists he was just taking it for Nathan's sake).

Brian took apart his old Nintendo and put it back together (trying to fix something - I'm still unclear as to what) and Nathan was VERY interested in helping Dad work with all those wires and small parts.

Kay made the most delicious Christmas Eve dinner, the star of which would probably have to be the French Onion soup! John's mom and sister joined us and everything was super tasty. The variety of desserts was astounding, as always, and it was impossible to decide which to try first.

Meghan, Kylleen, and Kay all got to feel baby girl kick!

Nathan hid in bathrooms and closets and surprised (over and over) everyone with his presence.

Christmas morning Brian and Nathan showed off their matching Christmas pajamas, (I'm kind of hoping this will become an annual tradition - just need to get myself a pair for when I'm not with child) and I was reminded what a fun and game man I married. We were all spoiled and it was incredibly fun to watch Nathan get excited about each of his presents. The tricycle was a total winner! Our camera battery died shortly thereafter, which means that the rest were taken on my phone. There were about 101 perfect picture moments that I missed but I tried to see it as getting to "live the moment" instead. The one that stands out to me was Nanny and Pop Pop walking in the snow holding his hands and shortly after sledding. The boy was in pure heaven and his giggles were contagious.

This is the best photo of the three of us in our Christmas pajamas.

Christmas in Perrysburg - 2013!

I wish I had more pictures from Christmas with the Donnells at Jessie's house, but apparently I was too busy having fun to be snapping pictures. Let's just say that Nathan took a great nap on the way down which made for a much more merry celebration!

We were so glad that we got to see Laura and Bill (early surprise arrivals) before their big move to Australia. They are surprisingly calm for being at the edge of such major change. I think Bill could teach me a thing or two about meditation.

Carter and Nathan were at their cutest yet interacting, though they were mostly ships passing, neither was very phased and both were in pretty great spirits and totally spoiled.

Christmas 2013 - Brighton

Mom and Dad hosted an absolutely deliciously fun and beautiful Christmas on Saturday. We all had a great time, include Nathan who is now a big fan of hugging the other two kids. We've gone from them wanting to give him big hugs and him freaking out to Nathan wanting to give them big hugs and them being pretty uninterested most of the time (or at least that day). We'll get there!

We taught Zach about photobombing.

Leah got a spirograph and was killing it within minutes.

Train guy in the making.
