Throwback

Notice the similarity?  Seriously. WOAH.

Here are some of the outtakes. I love these boys!

Nanny Kay and Pop Pop Visit!

We had such a nice visit with Nanny Kay and Pop Pop! Lots of playing was done, and Brian and I even got to sleep in a few mornings. It was just delicious. Kay and Brian actually cleaned up everything after Nathan's birthday party while Brian and I took a nap. I'm embarrassed now, but they insisted and it was SO NICE!

We can't wait to see them again in a month!

Nathan Turns One!

Nathan's Peter Rabbit first birthday party was a success!  The day started with lots of help from Brian's parents pulling everything together for the party (my low key lunch still took a bit of pulling together) and Nathan getting to ride around in his new wagon.

We got the most beautiful weather for the party, (70s and sunny) and much fun was had with Nathan's new wagon from Pop Pop and Nanny Kay and the most amazing tent and tube from Aunt Mary (who came all the way from Cleveland!). Zach was good enough to help Nathan open his presents and set up his 2 new trains.

I stole a few photos from Liz that were particularly good, but her post is here. She was on it!

We had bunny tails for the kids (and me), lots and lots of veggies from Mr. McGregor's garden, and carrot cake cupcakes. We even got to use my grandmother's figurines as decorations. We had one happy tired bunny on our hands.

I think it's fair to say that the kids had a blast and I know I did. It's so much fun seeing the three of them together. Nathan is especially interested in whatever it is that Zach does. He's better than an iPhone.
