A boy and his dryer

Nathan adores our dryer. It has a lot of wonderful characteristics including a lint trap that moves up and down, a door that can bang against the door of the closet, a light that shines inside, a perfect ledge for pulling up on, and of course, clothes to pull out. If I were a better housekeeper he probably wouldn't have as much to play with, but folding laundry usually happens after he's asleep.

It's pretty routine now that when we start getting ready for a bath, once the clothes are off, he's off like shot into the hallway to check out the dryer situation.

"I can't find anything to wear!"

He's also really starting to get more actively involved in bath time. It's clear that he knows what is coming when I start running the bath, and we have to be sure to close the door while it fills up or he's wanting to go headlong into the water. Yeesh.

  1. I love this! Reminds me of Zach (a little older) and his "Run Around Naked!" phase.
