We were outside shoveling when our neighbor, Earl, came over and suggested a snow man. In all honesty, he did most of the heavy lifting while the kids just enjoyed the challenge of walking encumbered by layers of extra clothing. The end result was pretty adorable though and he even taught Nathan how to make his first snow angel. We rewarded Earl with cookies later in the day for playing with us. It was a very wholesome snow day. There may have even been hot chocolate involved.

Snow Fun!
After we were back home from having our pictures taken, the snow just kept coming down. It was that kind of wet snow that came directly down and just wouldn't stop. No flurries here, that snow was HEAVY. We shoveled about 3 times just to avoid having to do a foot in one pass. This meant busting out all of the serious winter gear. Vivian weighed double her usual with all of it on.
