We did some family photos with our favorite photographer around. She does mini-sessions that require only 20 minutes of good behavior, which is a good thing since that's about how long my tribe has in them before things start to get a little fussy. (I include Brian in that description).
It was a remarkably snowy day and was the start of a pretty significant dump of snow. First thing in the morning we went out to grab some food and came back to a child sized shovel as a gift from our neighbors! Nathan loved it and shoveled me a path with gusto. It was awesome.
After we came back from the photo shoot, Vivian came running back outside once I had taken off her coat. I totally sacrificed her warmth for some cute pictures in the snow. I wish I had had it in me to keep it going longer to really get some good ones, but it seemed like questionable parenting as it was, seeing as it was only about 30 degrees outside. She did not seem to mind a bit.
