Weekend bests

What a great weekend!  Brian is still out of town (skiing in Tahoe with friends) so we headed out to Mom and Dad's for the day. We did a photo shoot while we were there. 

And Ted is in town! He's interviewing and looking at houses. We love what this means!

Also, I swear I'm not a terrible mom that lets her boy play in the fire. The vent is completely cool (well, at least not hot, just a little warm) to the touch, so he's fine. He's really good at pulling himself along on the wood. He went about 4 feet in 15 seconds.
