Nathan says

Not a whole lot, but something!

Nathan's been imitating more and more, especially in the car for some reason. We will be driving around going back and for with raspberries and babbles until I realize that if anyone overheard me they would think I had lost it. It's one of the best things ever.

He is starting to attach "da-da" more and more to Brian and has once or twice even uttered something that sounded suspiciously like "book" while we were reading. "Up" happens periodically, when he wants to be picked up, and he'll often say "hi" with an inflection that sounds eerily familiar to me. It's cutest when he's talking to his stuffed animals, whom he loves. I don't know why that surprises me, but it does. A particular favorite is a florescent yellow bear I got at my 4th birthday party from Todd Schmeida (how's that for a childhood memory?). If you're wondering, I opened it on the front steps of our house.

Also, in a recent checkup N weighed in at 19lbs. 12 oz, and 30 inches long. He's tall and lean like his dad. It's making clothes a little tricky. The things that are long enough for his bean pole legs are a little roomy in the waist.

In the video below, you'll see a few of his new tricks, playing with his voice and kisses!
