First Cold

We're not sure exactly where he picked it up, but our baby has had his first cold. For the last week he's been especially congested. The congestion is out of control and the poor boy just isn't being himself. Usually he only cries for a very short list of reasons.

• Hunger.
• Tired.
• He lost control of his head and whacked it into my collarbone.

That's pretty much the entire list. We can now add, can't breathe because his nose is so snotty. Poor, poor, boy. The dark circles under his eyes are just heartbreaking. He's starting to come out of it now, which is a big relief to us all.
