Steve and Amanda tie the knot!

Our good friends Steve and Amanda got married this weekend in Fort Wayne. It was a fantastic wedding, and it was wonderful to help celebrate such a great couple. They were instrumental in encouraging Brian to pursue a relationship with some girl living in Michigan back in the day, so I am particularly fond of them. We had a great time catching up with old friends, swinging by our favorite places in the 'fort, and introducing our friends to Nathan.

Their wedding was so exactly them filled with lots of friends, an extremely thoughtful ceremony, and lots of fun. The wedding was held at the old train depot which is a stunning venue with amazing light. Unfortunately, while I remembered everything we would need for Nathan and myself, I forget to charge the camera battery so we didn't take as many photos as we would have liked to.

We took the opportunity to use the weekend as a test run for our trip to the cottage next week. The major difference being that Meghan was willing to come with us as our traveling babysitter, and we will be on our own in Canada. Once again, we can't sing Meghan's praises enough.

Brian took Meghan's car down early to attend the bachelor party so it was Meghan, Nathan, and me on the ride down. Given Nathan's general distaste for the carseat, I don't know that I would have wanted to brave that drive alone. He was actually very good both on the way down and back.
