There haven't been many pictures this week for one simple reason. Our boy seems to be going through some kind of transition which has rendered him an eating and sleeping machine. Please don't get me wrong, his extended naps have allowed me to get a lot more done during the day, and I know this is just a phase. I suspect he's going through either a developmental bump or a growth spurt, but it has meant that he's waking up with just enough energy to eat and then is ready for bed again so there hasn't been a whole lot of playtime with our boy this week. Also awesome were the two nights in a row that he slept 8+ hours. Huzzah!
As we gear up to leave for the cottage tonight I'm crossing my fingers that he decides to continue this phase for at least the next 24 hours. We are splitting up the drive between tonight and tomorrow so hopefully neither day is too awful. My parents are up there now and leaving tomorrow to come back home. Hopefully we'll be able to see them for a brief second while we hand off the boat. Stay tuned for pictures when we get back.
To tide you over here are a few from this morning. I love that smiles still have the ability to take him by surprise and make him lose his balance.
P.S. Nathan is 11 weeks old today!
2 weeks 6 weeks
8 weeks 11 weeks
