Pretty much the only craving I had while I was pregnant was watermelon. Unfortunately, watermelon was out of season pretty much my entire pregnancy. As a result, I but it for pretty much any reason I can think up now. So, happy 4th of July!
We had an impromptu gathering at our house cooked up and expanded over the course of the last few days. It started out just as a get together for Brian's volleyball group after a pick up game in the morning, and in true Kelly fashion it quickly expanded.
We had a great mix of people from Brian's work, family (thanks for representing, Ted) neighbors/friends, and even a co-worker of mine who just moved to the area. We had beautiful weather and lots of good food. We even got some more use out of our little pool.
Nathan took two very short naps (unlike him) so he wasn't quite showing off his best side, but we had a great time regardless. He was in bed and asleep by 6:30, poor tired boy.
Nathan loves watermelon as much as I do!
