Bottle update!

For those of you who have been sitting on the edge of your seats wondering how bottles are going for Cathy (exactly none of you) we have good news! He's been a champ since the poor start on Monday and has taken them without a fuss the rest of the week. He is definitely getting fewer feedings now that he's with Cathy though, and we seem to be having a bit of an issue getting enough milk into him during the day. Last night he was nursing for almost an hour before I broke down and gave him a bottle of precious pumped milk.

-And then another.
-And another.  
-4 oz. in total.
-After nursing for an hour.
Nursing moms will understand why this is so ridiculous. Especially since this is not a child who will eat more from a bottle once he's decided he's had enough. Clearly, he had Not. Had. Enough.

We're going to see if Cathy can increase the amount he eats during the day and hope that makes bedtime a little less of an eating marathon. Though, who knows? Maybe we have a competitive eater on our hands.

I also love that Cathy periodically texts Brian and me with updates on naps and pictures to say hi!
