Mirror baby
For months now Nathan has been a huge fan of the baby in the mirror. He smiles and laughs the moment he seems himself in any surface, including the doors to the deck. I find it delightful every time. I tried to capture some of his joy, but he got a little distracted by me and the camera.

7 Month Randoms
I love coming upstairs for lunch or a glass of water and seeing these three cuddling up.
Nathan loves his Nonnie.
And his dad.
I still love watching these two head out for the day. Brian is my hero for doing most of the heavy lifting for drop off and pick up.
Liz and the kids came over tonight to have dinner and Zach helped us set up the train. I'm not sure which of us was more excited. Just kidding. That kid is a train lover. He actually remembered where we store the train on the off season. I don't even remember when he saw it there. It had to have been months ago.
Those two are just about the sweetest things ever. They both love bringing Nathan toys. Zach is especially affectionate toward him.
The three of us were sitting watching the train, and Zach was instructing Nathan on the workings. "Nathan, it's going to go forward now, and you'll see the engine first. Now, it'll go backwards, and you'll see the caboose first. Now, let's count the cars. There are one, two, three, four, five. If you don't count the engine, it's only four." Gosh I love that kid.

Decking the Halls
Mom and Dad came over for Breakfast this weekend and helped us trim our tree and put up some holiday decor. I love Christmas. I just love it. I don't actually have any real pictures of the decor, but you can kind of see it behind people.
Nathan's gotten pretty darn good at sitting up on his own for periods at a time and is a real champ if he's in a chair or on the couch, but I keep waiting for Nathan to be able to sit up without the fear that he'll catapult backwards with glee (it's his signature move) so I can do some cute photos with him and the tree. I may be out of luck, or maybe we'll just leave the tree up until mid-January.
Nathan is starting to grasp the concept of cause and effect. No better tools for this exercise than a spoon and pot. Mostly he liked gnawing on the spoon.
I know I've asked it before, but who doesn't love a naked baby? Plus, turns out you can see the stockings in this one!
Peek-a-boo (laughing)
I've debated whether or not to post this, given that our boy is very much in his birthday suit. However, I think the laughs outweigh the naked.

Da Da!
I just dug this off the other camera. Now that we've found the charger for our big guy, the little point and shoot isn't getting as much love. However, I did manage to get a solid video of Nathan saying Da Da. It's so cute I can't even begrudge it too much that women around the world didn't take the word for themselves. B's and D's are the easiest for babies to say. We birthed them, you'd think we'd get the first word. But I digress....
