We had some professional photos taken yesterday to try and capture this moment in time and the kids' personalities right now. Of course I brought my camera too -- just in case. Vivian was in rare form with smiles and goof. Nathan was a little harder to sell on the whole idea of sitting still in one place and listening closely to all instructions. Really, I think he's just a 3 year old boy. I do think the professional photographer was able to do a little better than I did, but these make me pretty happy. We'll see them in a few weeks!
Mom came by to help wrangle folks and appeared at the perfect moment with a few peonies that turned things around a bit for Nathan's mood. Thank you, Mom! How cute are my people?
After we got home and had some dinner we went out to the front yard to run around a little bit. It's become our routine lately with this beautiful weather, so it was fun to capture some of the cuteness in nice clothes.
