The kids and I flew out early to Reading on Monday morning. We cut it a little close... ok, very close. It was as if Nathan could tell that I was doing my best to hold it together happily while rushing them both through the airport as he cheerfully sat on the Sit and Stand (thank you, Liz!). He enjoyed the very quick ride and at one point said, "Mama, you walking really fast! It be okay, Mama." Dear boy. His inner angel won out that morning and honestly both kids couldn't have been better for the flight. I got so very lucky.
Vivian got to meet a lot of family for the first time, including Great Nanny Kelly (not pictured, not sure why I didn't take any pictures!), Uncle Andrew, Great Uncles Patrick and John, Great Aunt Lisa and Great Uncle Tommy. What a lucky little girl!
Andrew was especially taken with Viv, and vice versa. All he had to do was look at her and she was laughing. They were pretty adorable together.
We also got a chance to see Andrew and Kylleen's new house - which is great! They have been doing so much work to renovate before moving in and we got to see it at a really fun stage. They have made so many smart updates, and I can't wait to see what it looks like when they are finished.
Viv was doing some pretty hardcore teething when Lisa and Tommy were visiting, and she basically just melted into Lisa. It was so sad to see her like that, but so sweet to see how comfortable Viv felt with her.
