Brian took apart his old Nintendo and put it back together (trying to fix something - I'm still unclear as to what) and Nathan was VERY interested in helping Dad work with all those wires and small parts.
Kay made the most delicious Christmas Eve dinner, the star of which would probably have to be the French Onion soup! John's mom and sister joined us and everything was super tasty. The variety of desserts was astounding, as always, and it was impossible to decide which to try first.
Meghan, Kylleen, and Kay all got to feel baby girl kick!
Nathan hid in bathrooms and closets and surprised (over and over) everyone with his presence.
Christmas morning Brian and Nathan showed off their matching Christmas pajamas, (I'm kind of hoping this will become an annual tradition - just need to get myself a pair for when I'm not with child) and I was reminded what a fun and game man I married. We were all spoiled and it was incredibly fun to watch Nathan get excited about each of his presents. The tricycle was a total winner! Our camera battery died shortly thereafter, which means that the rest were taken on my phone. There were about 101 perfect picture moments that I missed but I tried to see it as getting to "live the moment" instead. The one that stands out to me was Nanny and Pop Pop walking in the snow holding his hands and shortly after sledding. The boy was in pure heaven and his giggles were contagious.
This is the best photo of the three of us in our Christmas pajamas.
